  We had such a lovely stay at Tim's Place! We stayed here only a couple days during our trip to the Grampians, but we wished we could have stayed longer. Tim is an incredible host - kind, helpful, and made us feel instantly welcome. He was there to greet us when we arrived, showed us around, recommended some hikes, and even helped us figure out the bus schedule when we left. The hostel itself is clean, comfortable, and had everything you'd need to feel at home. We loved eating dinner outside, listening to the birds chirping in the morning, and watching the kangaroos come out into the nearby fields in the evening. The location is fantastic - perfect if you want to see kangaroos up close! Tim even offers bikes you can borrow to take into town if you need to stop by the grocery store. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Tim's Place to anyone visiting the Grampians!

  This place is full of love and hospitality. The hosts go above and beyond to meet everyone’s needs and make this feel more like a home than a hostel. Will always come back here when I’m in Halls Gap.

  Well equipped common room. All facilities clean and in good condition. This place is also about saving energy and do things in a more sustainable way. They transfer this message without being lecturing but demonstrative.

  We enjoyed our two night stay. The manager even gave us a single room with a large bed against form rates. Facilities were perfect and clean! The people herr are really cool!

  One of the best hostels I've ever been! Clean, quite, lots of kangaroos in the back yard, bikes for free!, ping pong table... Tim is really lovley and helpful! Very recommended!
